  • Q) My Stairlift simply will not move, what should I do?
    A) In the first instance, switch off the unit at its on/off switch, then unplug it from the mains and leave for 10 minutes. This will allow for the “Electronic brain” to re-set itself. Switch the unit back on, this action will in a lot of cases get you going again, if there is no change in the situation, contact us and we will have someone call out to you and get the unit going.
  • Q) The Stairlift keeps beeping, what is wrong?
    A) Usually this means that the Stairlift batteries are not charging. Ensure that the Stairlift is parked on a charging point. Once parked on a charging point, should the unit keep beeping, there is most likely an issue with the charging point. Contact us and we will have someone call out and get the unit charging properly.
  • Q) My stairlift is moving very slowly and gradually getting slower, what is the issue?
    A) This usually indicates that the batteries that run the Stairlift drive unit are not taking a charge and need replacing. Contact us and we will have someone call out and replace the batteries.
  • Q) All the lights are on, but the stairlift will not move, Why?
    A) In many situations like this a switch or a sensor is faulty, in this situation it can be difficult to figure out exactly what the problem is at a glance. Contact us and we will have someone call out, identify the problem and get you going again quickly.
